Uninhibited Circles
“One night at the end of a long life drawing session I started to use ink and these circles developed from true flow.”
The black moons are painted in Japanese ink on Khadi paper, in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes, to express a moment when the mind is free.
The Black Moon Collection is a series which invites the viewer to imagine echoes from the past and the future in abstract forms of black circles, shadows and light.
