Unfinished edges, lines, body and mind merge into each other. Untrammelled thoughts are free to loop in the circles- shadows and self held together in a map body.This artwork invites you to feel that which you haven’t had the capacity to put into words .

The Shadow Self Collection is Helen’s latest series which invites the viewer to imagine echoes from the past and the future in abstract forms of black circles, shadows and light.

The black circles are painted in Japanese ink on Khadi paper, in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes, to express a moment when the mind is free.
